VO: (After a few secs, as she was checking my DS forms and my I-20 ) So why are you going to the US
Me: For an MS in EE from the UNCC.
VO: Okay, why UNCC?
Me: The research is great, the dept is nice, blah blah... etc (Try and talk convincingly about the university and your department and look as if you are really excited to join- That , IMO is one of the most imp things they look forward to...)
VO:So where all did you apply to?
Me: blah blah... all other unis
VO: What made you select this uni over the other?
Me: This was a better choice, looking at the uni and the courses
VO: (again after some time delay, some secs I guess, they constantly keep on doing something on their PC) What does your father do?
Me: Replied with the name of the Company, Position, etc..
VO: So, have you ever been outside India?
Me: No.
VO: So, this is your first time.. are you nervous?
Me: Not really, but a bit, yes..
VO: If I were in your place, I would have been much more nervous!!
Okay then..(Returned me my I-20.... and circled and signed on the DS forms. and then she said something which sounded like an affirmative )
Me: Have I been granted the visa?
VO: Oh yes, You're going to North Carolina!
Me: Thank you!!

Me: We have enough movable and immovable assets for funds (with a smile)

Me: Gvt Service
VO: What exactly sir?
Me: Told...
VO: Give me your marks cards.
Me: I hand over the 8th sem marks card.
VO: Give me all the mark sheets.
Me: I start handing over from 1sem all the sheets.
VO looks at the marksheets, and asks me to put my right hand index finger for scan.
VO: Your passport will be delivered in a week.
Me: Thanks you sir.
