Me: Sir, one folder has my college grade sheets and in the other i have the fixed deposit originals...
VO: (he smiles) but I dont want to see any1 of them....
Me:(I smile) allrite sir....
VO: So, which course are u going for?
Me:Sir I am going to pursue my MS in Electrical Power systems...
VO: Why UT Austin?
Me: Sir, UT Austin is one of the most reputed universities for power systems...I have carefully gone through the curriculum and it exactly matches my interest....
VO:u gave your GRE rite?!
me:Yes sir...
VO:What was your score?!
me: 1490 Sir...
VO: Ok....so u nervous?!
me: Not really sir..
VO: No no...i dont mean here....U nervous about going to US?
Me: No sir...I know a lot of seniors there and I am pretty excited actually..
VO: But u will be away from home and wont u miss Hilsa fish...?
Me: Sir, Texas has a lot of Indian population and in case i want, we can always cook in our apartment..
VO: (he was quick to catch onto the word"we") we? who is "we"...?
me: (I smiled) Sir, "we" means other ppl who have got an admit to austin...I have already found roommates and we are looking for apartments together....
VO: Ohh all rite then...(he smiles and gives me back my docs) Your passport will be couriered to you in 3 days....welcome to US:):):)
