HIM:OOPS!! realises the mistake and tries to cover it up.. says i'm interested in data mining... then will do mba.. i'll be good in both..
VO: Who's sponsoring you.
HIM:Family
VO: What does your father do?
HIM: gets visibly nervous. hands behind his back shaking! says stuff..
recounts all crops grown in fields. and successfully establishes that the land is his and all that
VO: What is you undergraduate percentage?
HIM: 59
VO: Please show me your mark sheets
HIM: Gives it
VO: goes through the sheets for a while.
HIM: shivering with tension now
VO: Finally says ok sir ur visa is approved.... u will get it in 5 days.
HIM: (Oh thank god!. hands not shivering anymore) thank you mam, thank you v much.


VO : Hi
Me : Hello
VO : (Saw on his computer screen that my uncle has filed for permanent immigration for my dad and got a bit upset. He thought for a moment what to ask and then said) So, why NYU Poly?
Me : I want to pursue MS in CS with specialization in Information Security and NYU Poly is doing quite a commendable research work in the subject. (I wanted to say further but then he was not at all paying attention so I stopped!.)
VO : Whats ur GRE score.
Me : said
VO : college score
Me : said
VO : Were u the topper in ur class?
Me : Not exactly topper but yeah I got some 7th or 8th rank.
VO : (with a smile) What is more important is the strength of the class(his smile expanded)
Me : (with a bigger smile) yeah..., there wer some 70 students in my class. (He seemed to be satisfied with that)
VO : Do u hav relatives in USA?(Referring to my uncle)
Me : Yes. But not immediate family relatives.
VO : Who is sponsoring?
Me : Dad
VO : What's he doing?
Me : said
Vo : Your uncle has applied for permanent immigration for ur dad. Right?
Me : Yes.
VO : (With a smile) But he must not be planning to immigrate there. Atleast right now. Right?
Me : (Feeling so happy) Yes!!!
VO : U r also not planning to immigrate at any moment of time. Right?
Me : Yes.............!!!!
VO : Okay then. I am issuing you visa!

VO: Hi..
Me: Good morning ma'am.
Asked for the folder containing my DS forms, SEVIS fee, etc.
VO: So what's your CGPA?
Me: Told her.
VO: So you completed your B.Tech this year?
Me: Yes ma'am.
VO: What does your father do?
Me: Told her.
VO: Okay... Your VISA is issued. Have a nice day. (! )
