my interview was a simple simple one
me : hi goodmorning
vo : smiles and asked for docs
VO : show me ur marksheets
me : started taking out the marksheets one by one he lost his patience and said its ok .
VO: what does ur dad do ?
me : told
VO: whats his annual income ?
me : told
and then the surprise golden words ...." ur visa will be couriered in a week . enjoy ur stay in the US " :D

Dialogues:
VO: Good morning..how r u?
Me: Good morning mam.I m good.How r u?
VO: Which univ r u goin to?
Me: told
VO: Which course?
Me: PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences and specializing in transdermal drug delivery
VO: Tell me more abt ur specializn..
Me:Explained( kept it simple and din use any technical terms as I was scared the pink slip might cum my way)
VO: How many univs did u apply to?
Me: 5
VO: Wat r they?
Me: told
VO: Smiling..so u selected the best course...Hve u done ur masters?
Me: No I hve done my B.Pharm and the course which I m goin for is an integrated one ie is MS+PhD (I added this just in case she had any reservations abt me directly goin for PhD)
VO: Ohh..u hve a scholarship of 15k(lookin at my I20)
Me: Yes mam I hve a full fee waiver and an assistantship
VO: (Typing into the computer)good...ur visa is approved will reach u in 2-3 days
Me: Thanks mam,u made my day.Hve a nice day.

vo - why TTU out of the 5
me - sir coz TTU is a reputed public univ with recognized faculty and good infrastructure
vo - (was busy working on his computer) laughs a bit (not looking at me still working), looks at me and says thats a very general memorised answer, tell me more, WHY TTU ??
me - sir coz i have talked to seniors and professors and also TTU has low fee so i need not take heavy bank loans
vo - grins (ab aaya oonth pahad k neeche), and says ur visa is approved u'll rcv it in 7 days
me - thanx a lot officer !!!!!!
