Instances before interview : I was told to go out and throw out my Fevistick and eraser and come back. i had to again get back in line. Wasted my half hour in it
VO : So why do you want to go to USA?
Me : To Pursue my Masters degree in Computer Science @ USC.
VO : *She tells me wait for 2 min, i will go through your DS forms*
Me : Ok.
VO : So Southern California.
Me : Ya.
VO : Where ( why) did you complete your college?
ME : I did my Bachelors in Information Technology ( I did here why instead of when).
VO : I meant where did you complete your college?
ME : Oh sorry, @ Dharmsinh Desai University, Nadiad, Gujarat.( i also felt like telling the Pin code)
VO : Good, so you would be having your degree with you now ( I was surprised she knew about my University)
ME : Yes madam i have my degree.
VO : What are your Test scores?
ME : You mean GRE ( I felt like an idiot after telling that)
VO : Yeah
ME : I got 800/800 in Quant,
VO : tell me the total please.
ME : 1250 and 95 in tOEFL.
VO : So what do your parents do?
ME : My dad is in so and so company for last 29 years and my mom is retired employee of so and so bank who served 25 years.
VO : Oh thats a long service.
ME : Yes Ma'm.
VO : What your DAD's Annual Income?
ME : Told
VO : So how much have your parents saved for your education?
ME : Told the amount.
VO : She asks for Balance certificate.
*As i was taking out*
VO : How much pension does your mom Receive.
ME : Told the amount and gave the certificates
VO : Looks thoughly at it, Good your Visa has been approved.
ME : Thanks madam.
VO : Enjoy your Stay in USA.

Me - To do my MS in Mechanical Engg.
VO - and what is ur area of focus?
Me - Solid Mechanics n FEM

VO - So, what r u doing now?
Me - Sir, im completing my BE degree in MechE this yr..
(keeps typing..................while i keep my fingers crossed!)
VO - ur visa is approved!
Me - Thank u Sir! u made my day!
VO - (smiles) keep these docs with u while u go 2 the US..(hands me the I-20 n cert of admission)
Me- Thank you Sir! have a good day!
